Google 2nd page might be useful

I always consider the search results that came in Google's first page.. most of the times my search ends to this first page.

but when you know that Google rank the pages by the number of links to that page from other web sites you may know that this limiting your search with the first page isn't the right thing to do.

for example when you search for Data Access Application Block you will find  Enterprise Library 2.0 article listed on the first page and the 3.0 version article listed on the second page which make since as the older version was around longer and most likely to be lined to.

Security Tip

Hi folks, When you design your sophisticated "Change Password" feature in your next application make sure to retain the old password so the user can't re-choose them anymore..

You can keep a history of passwords and don't allow to use them again.

[UPDATE]

The reason you may wanted to do this..if your password base compromised you wanted to change the password for your clients to something tempporary and also prevent them from changing this back to the old compromized one, however you also will benfit from this stratigy to force users to never having the same password they already changed - why they change their password on the first place - to be using it again...

Ultimate Success, for me too

Yesterday I went to attend SKDDII which is the event i have posted about earlier it was great specially the Python vs. C# 3.0 and SilverLight session..

anyway as SilverKey have success delivering their second event. I have ultimate success of my own.. you see dear reader, conferences to me is only about 30% a technical refresh notice refresh as like any geek who respect himself :) most of the technologies introduce i have already known.. but the real juice for me is meeting old folks, those little side talks.. and adding more contact card to my wallet that makes the remaining 70% for me.

Kudos for SK guys, all devs who make it to the event, i had a great time meeting you all.
