A nice tip from Suresh Behera. Here you can find some Visual Studio 2003 posters: http://weblogs.asp.net/sbehera/archive/2005/09/28/426154.aspx.

I finally decided to give my pc a second chance by upgrading the videocard. I replaced my Radeon 9700 with a Radeon X800XT.

Now I can play Half life 2 on a decent resolution with all the details on:)

Microsoft finally released a beta version of their Development Toolbar for IE. Now you'll have the same functionality as the web developer extension for Firefox. Such as inspecting the Dom object, disable scripts, view image information, show a ruler, resize the window and etc.

Beware! You have to reboot your pc after installing the application.

When Google released beta 2 of the desktop search application I got interested and give it a try. After trying this out for about 1 week I noticed that the google sidebar missed some essential plugins like: Disk usage and a weather forcast for foreign countries.

Today I found a new sidebar called the desktop sidebar. And this is even better than the google sidebar. I like this so much better. For instance, the desktop sidebar is skinnable and has a standard disk usage application and a weather forcast for the netherlands. And it looks kinda cool! The desktop sidebar cummunity is much larger which results in a lot of available plugins.

The desktop sidebar has functionality such as: weather forcast, displays rss feeds, notes editor, msn plugin, performance monitors, shutdown buttons and a very nice clock:)

Highly recommended! Click here to give it a try.

Via the ASP.NET website I found out that my clipboard wasn't secured at all. Every website I visit could read my clipboard with using javascript. Stupid me......

After a delay of 2 weeks. Dell finally delivered my 2005FPW 20 inch widescreen:)  When I turned the screen on it really gave me a *wow* feeling.

Compared to my 17 inch CRT this is like a huge monster. This is definitely a must have for every developer. Look at the screenshots I made in Visual Studio and outlook 2003. It looks pretty amazing don't you think?

This screen can produce a resolution of 1680x1050 (16:10)  with a response time of 16ms. Gaming in Half Life 2 will never be the same:)

I recommend everyone to buy a 20 inch widescreen! Click here for detailed information.

Yes!
