Win7 x64 and VPC

I'm trying to install Windows 2008 R2 x64 into a virtual machine. My host machine is a Windows 7 x64 bit system. 

However, as soon as the installation starts, I get a message saying 
"attempting to load a 64 bit app but this CPU is not compatible with 64 bit 
mode" 

Howly crap VPC does not support x64 OS?:( .

Need VMWare right now.

Just install Virtualbox! Best of it is that virtualbox host is also available for other platforms so that your images are portable.

Thanks! I'm using VMWare right now and i'm quite happy with it. Maybe I will use Virtualbox in the future.
