Tonight software legend Juval Löwy was the speaker at the dotNED user group meeting. I have some pictures online.
He spoke about the new transaction support in .NET 2.0 and some ideas for beyond that. Unfortunately I can't go into the “beyond that”. because we all entered into a gentlemen's agreement not to blog about that. Otherwise Juval would give the “boring” standard presentation about System.Transactions which you can already read about in his whitepaper titled “Introducing System.Transactions in the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0”. But his ideas (and implementation of it) were quite impressive. Expect to hear more about it later.
