GAT and GAX can be used to extend Visual Studio and automate development tasks from within the Visual Studio IDE. </p> <p>It&#39;s great to see that after a series of CTP versions, this release is marked as final. Both Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 versions are supported and can be used side-by-side.
