BizTalk Software Factory v1.0 released

 It took me a while, but v1.0 of the BizTalk Software Factory is finally on CodePlex.

You can get it from http://www.codeplex.com/bsf

This first release took CodePlex/BASF developed by Dijkstra as a basis and added some functionality.

  • Create BizTalk multi project solution structures using a wizard
  • Create BizTalk single project solution, grouping artifacts into folders, using a wizard
  • Guidance for adding Schemas to a project
  • Guidance for adding Maps to a project
  • Guidance for adding Orchestrations to a project
  • Guidance for adding pipelines to a project

Future releases will contain also Unit Test and setup projects.

hi,

Im acrtually a member of the BASF but havent been able to put up any stuff yet. Just curious why you developed this as a separate project?

Benjamin, I talked to Dijkstra about the BASF project on Codeplex and we decided to start a new project instead of going further with BASF. Actually there is not a breaking reason besides that we liked the name without "Application" better.

The BSF is changed a lot regarding to the BASF, but still build on the foundations of it.

Looking at that you're right, we could have made a major BASF release and post it under the BASF project.

If you're interested in participating, you're more than welcome.

Hi Jean-Paul,

Thanks for getting back. As soon as i downloaded the documentation i realised that  Dijkstra was also involved with BSF. I agree that BSF sounds better than BASF !!. I have sent you an email about my participation as well.
