I started the CodeProject.com web site this morning to look for some examples. To my surprise, an article I wrote in May 2006 is now a featured article on the CodeProject home page. It's an article in which I show how you could use the DirectoryInfo and FileInfo objects to scan your folders for files, using events and/or overridable methods. I use it myself in various small command-line tools.
But as I said, I'm surprised to see this happen. And proud, obviously. Sofar, the only featured article anywhere on the web by me was an article I wrote for my own blog, called The Art of Software Development, in which I rant about some things I keep running into. And that was on this very blog site.
Too bad all I have is the screen shot to prove it...
