&lt;p&gt;As far as I know, expect100Continue is a different property than keepAlive.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Besides, setting a servicePointManager (static) property in the web.config affects all web service proxies. This may not be what you want.&lt;/p&gt;
