I was browsing Channel 9 for a bit ( a Microsoft site with interviews and video's ) which are encoded with wmv.
Among the video's was: Monad demonstrated.

Which really blew me away in terms of functions / power.

Spoilers:

Access the registry.
Access Active Directory.
Access variables.
Access functions.
Use SQL like filter / order functionality.
Be able to use other programs as output (Excel is shown).

I just got hit by my first comment spam, I feel honered that spammers would think of this blog as spamworthy.

That being said, it might be a good idea to monitor your blog for comment spam, I'm probably not the only one who was hit by it.

An article about some of the features of the query analyzer program, I must admit I didn't know most of them:

Query Analyzer Tips and Tricks

Some things I liked and didn't know, or have known but forgot:

  • Highlighting an object and hitting ALT + F1 brings up information on that object.
  • Dragging the columns node to the query window and get a  comma delimited list of the columns.
  • Stored procedure debugging, this is done by selecting debug from the context menu of the object browser.
  • Parse a piece of SQL code without executing by pressing CTRL - F5

A while back a Linux hacker made it possible to mount the gmail account. So it can be used as a hard drive now a clever windows hacker did the same but now for windows. It can be found here: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm

Also very cool: a tool to use 80386 assembler as a asp.net language

While googling when trying to help someone I came across the following:
http://www.psacake.com/web/func/

It has 92 functions for most common VBScript scenario's it seems like a good addition / learning starting point for a lot of people.

Also on the same site is an index of a lot of other usefull resources:
