After years of development, the NHibernate team finally released version 1.0 of their O/R Mapper. (together with the contrib which include nullable types for .NET 1.1 and attribute based mapping) Because NHibernate was still in beta, many people thought it was a risk to use. Terribly slow compilation in vs.net 2003

On one of the projects here the projectmembers were complaining about a really slow build of the solution in vs.net 2003. It happend only when logging on to the network. Do you log in your application ? Have you written custom code to log to a file or database or anything else ? If you ask me it's a wast of time! You could use EIF, Enterprise Library or Log4Net. Call .NET code from XSLT

During my current project I was amazed that it's possible to call .NET code while transforming xml with xslt. Because of this feature we were able to call custom written functions that made the translation much more elegant. This can be done by adding an ExtensionObject to the XsltArgumentList.
