I just installed BT2004 on my terrible slow PC with Windows XP and when I was adding a port in the explorer, i get the following exception: cast not valid After searching around on the newsgroups ( biztalk newsgroup ) I found the answer to this problem: I had to install the COM+ Rollup package, which can be downloaded here That worked just fine.
