Passed for 070-316 exam and now MCAD certified

I just passed for the Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with c# 070-316 exam with a score of 880. Not as good as the 070-320 exam results that I did three weeks ago but still a good result.

I will start with the Implementing Security for Applications with c# exam within 2 hours from now. I searched for more information about it yesterday but couldn't find anything! So I only have the preperation guid to help me. I asked a collegue of mine that did the exam and I think I will pass it based on his input.

But I am a MCAD .net now :-)... Finally after working for more then 4 years with .net! It really is a shame that I didn't get this certification earlier because it really is too easy to pass for those exams.

Congrats!

But why would it be a shame. I think the MCAD and MCSD exams are overrated. It doesn't make you a better developer. It looks nice if you have them, and it earns you bragging rights.

The exams are certainly overrated. But still they are better then nothing.. and that is the only choice there currently is.

It's a shame that I didn't get certified earlier because the exams aren't that difficult to do. I did four exams and passed the first time. I didn't learn at all. The only thing I did were the online assesments.
